Frequently Asked Questions

Who operates the Club?

The equity members of the Idaho Falls Country Club elect a 12 member Board of Directors. The Board formulates rules and regulations of conduct for the club activities and management of it’s properties. The Board hires a General Manager to operate the club on a daily basis. The General Manager and staff work with all committees to implement policy made by the Board. Capital and Operating budgets are approved each year by the Board of Directors, and are the basis for establishing dues, fees, and assessments.

How many members will the Club have?

The proposed target for Equity Memberships is 375.  Determining the right level of memberships is monitored by the compaction of the golf course as the membership level grows.

Is there a dress code?

Yes, there is a dress code at the IFCC. Members should wear clothing governed by good taste and are responsible to make sure that their children and guests are attired in accordance to this rule. Please refer to Club rules for details.

Is there a Food & Beverage minimum?

To ensure that members utilize our fine dining facility and to support its operation, there shall be a member minimum levied for the months of February through November. If a member chooses not to utilize the minimum during this time period, it will be charged to the member’s account.

Are there assessments?

On occasion it may become necessary to levy a special assessment to all Equity members to purchase equipment or other capital expenditures. This may only be voted on by Equity Members at a meeting for that purpose, or at the Annual Equity Meeting held in February of each year.

When do I get billed?

The last day of the month is the cut-off for member’s charges. At the end of each month statements are prepared and mailed to the Member’s designated mailing address. Members have the option of paying by credit card, check, or cash.

What is the charge ticket system?

In the dining room and lounge, members must sign a charge ticket for purchases being charged to their account.  In the Pro Shop, members may sign a charge ticket, or pay cash for all purchases and cart rentals from the Pro Shop.

Does the Club have any reciprocity with other country clubs?

Yes, the IFCC participates in this reciprocal agreement and you may charge for the services while at another country club to your IFCC account.  The Pro Shop will be glad to make tee times, etc., and ascertain that the designated Country Club will accept “reciprocity”.
