A True Diamond in the Rough

Legendary Golf Course Architect William Francis Bell designed the serene and challenging Idaho Falls Country Club in the early 1960's. Bell is recognized as one of the most prolific and talented premiere golf course designers in the western United States with more than 200 courses built during his lifetime. Perhaps one of the most famous golf course designed by William F. Bell is the Torrey Pines Muncipal Course in La Jolla, California. Torrey Pines has been recognized as one of the country's foremost municipal golf facilities and has been selected by the USGA to be the site of the 2008 U.S. Open.
Bell continued his architectual brilliance designing the Idaho Falls Country Club in the early 60's. Tight fairways, lightning quick greens, and rolling terrain are found throughout our championship 18-hole golf course catering to both the low and high handicapping golfer. Surrounded in a natural setting, members can find serenity in the quiet valleys of our course, and even catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife as a little bonus. |
