Golf Instruction

It’s true the game of golf is a great way to spend time outdoors with friends or even complete strangers no matter what your skill level is.  That being said it is always more enjoyable when you have some success with your own game.  If you are struggling with your game or finally deciding to give it a try we are here to help.  The Idaho Falls Country Club has 3 PGA professionals on staff to assist you with all of your golf instruction needs.  There are a variety of different programs designed for all levels of players.  If you are interested in improving your game contact one of us and we can decide which one would work best for you.

 

Individual Lessons-   

When deciding between single lessons or a series we need to figure out how many phases of the game you want to work on and your commitment level to each of those phases.  After taking any lesson you want to make sure you can put in the time necessary to achieve success with the new techniques you learn.  The use of video analysis is available and can be utilized in individual lessons as well as in a series. 

1-Lesson-        $40

Series of 3-      $100

Series of 5-      $160

 

Individual Jr Lessons-

1 Lesson-         $25

Series of 3-      $60

Series of 5-      $100 

Mentoring Program-

If you are looking to seriously dedicate yourself to game improvement over the season the mentoring program is the best way to do it.  In this program you can schedule a lesson once a week and all aspects of the game can be covered in detail.   These lessons will include comprehensive full swing and short game instruction as well as covering the all important mental side of the game.  This is where you learn how to think and position yourself around the course giving yourself the best chance to score well.  If you are ready to commit 2 or more months to your golf game this season the mentoring program is the way to go. 

$100 per month

Group Clinics-

Group clinics are a available and a great way for beginner and intermediate golfers to get instruction in a comfortable environment.  In these clinics a topic is covered, demonstrated, and followed up with individual instruction.  Clinics can also be scheduled for business or family gatherings. 

$10 per participant (mimmum of 3)

Beginner Classes (Golf 101)-

If you are new to the game and feel like this is the year you want to start to play more we encourage you to attend one or more of the beginner classes.  These classes will cover many of the nuances of our facility and the game.  Topics will include pace of play, general rules, proper etiquette, and how to use the facilities we have here at the club.  These classes will run every Monday in March from 6-7pm and will be free of charge.

 

Junior Classes-

Junior golf is a very important here at the Idaho Falls Country Club.  Junior classes are available throughout the summer months, and are limited in class size and age to ensure the best possible instruction.  These classes run 2-3 days and will cover the fundamentals of the game along with learning the rules and proper golf course etiquette.  For schedules and lesson topics please refer to the Junior golf portion of the website.
